Good afternoon.
There will be a town hall meeting on Wednesday, December 17, 2026, in the Community Room on the first floor of the City Building. This will not be an official City Council meeting, but a chance to share information with the citizens and answer some questions that members of the community have shared. Members of the Port Authority Economic Development team, a couple of Council Members, and I will be hosting. We will still be having our regularly scheduled City Council meeting the following night upstairs in Council chambers.
We will spend the first part of the meeting answering pre-submitted questions to catch some of the most often asked questions. After we get through the top 20, we will spend an hour taking one on one questions from audience members. We will use a signup sheet to organize those. I know many community members have been asking for a meeting like this to address questions. The City Administration is planning another town hall style meeting in the new year to continue the discussion. I hope you can join us.
