Sugar Grove Cemetery Office- Open House and Ribbon Cutting October 11
LOCATION – Sugar Grove Cemetery 297 W. Truesdell St., Wilmington, OH
The City of Wilmington announces an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly remodeled and restored Cemetery Office for October 11 at 11:00 a.m. This event coincides with the Clinton County History Center’s Talking Tombstones event that will be taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and participants are encouraged to also attend the open house.
“We are excited to improve the experience of families and loved ones who enter our gates in their darkest hour or while preplanning end of life arrangements. The office will provide a private and quiet, on-site location for families to work with cemetery staff and offer a higher quality service to those who require our service. This office will provide years of service to the community and provide improved access to cemetery staff to address questions, concerns, and general inquiries about cemetery grounds.”, said Cemetery Superintendent Kirby Keltner.
The ribbon cutting at 11:00 a.m. will be followed by a Proclamation given by Mayor Pat Haley, the open house hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Questions regarding the event may be made to the City Services Office at (937) 382-6509.
