**Main Street Paving Repairs Project**
Lane Closures start Tuesday, October 29, 2024
LOCATION – Main Street, Wilmington, Ohio
Wilmington, Ohio – The City of Wilmington announces the commencement of the Main Street Paving Repairs project, with lane closures beginning October 29, 2024.
The Main Street Paving Repairs project includes pavement patching and crack sealing of Main Street, beginning at the intersection of W. Main Street and Nelson Avenue and terminating at Wall Street.
Motorists should expect lane closures and lane shifts beginning on October 29 and ending on or before November 1, weather permitting. Traffic will be maintained; however, motorists should anticipate and prepare for delays.
The City of Wilmington is managing the project. Cox Paving, LLC has been awarded the construction contract.
The Main Street Paving Repairs project is funded by the City of Wilmington Permissive Tax Fund.
The City of Wilmington asks that all motorists be patient, reduce speed, and exercise added caution when traveling near this work zone. Questions regarding this project may be directed to the City Services Office (937) 382-6509.
