**Emergency Water Infrastructure Repair- Intersection and Road Closures**

LOCATION – Intersection of Nelson Avenue and W. Main Street, Wilmington, Ohio
The City of Wilmington must perform emergency repairs to water infrastructure located at the intersection of Nelson Avenue and W. Main Street. The intersection Nelson Avenue and W. Main St. will be closed. Additional, partial road closures and detours are in place at adjacent intersections: Park Drive and W. Main St., W. Main St and Wayne Ave., Nelson Ave. and W. Locust, and Nelson Ave. and Ledex Dr.
The repairs will take place Thursday, October 24 and the intersection will reopen on Friday, October 25, weather permitting. Residents and businesses in the area may experience disruption in water service.
The City of Wilmington asks that all motorists be patient, reduce speed, and exercise added caution when traveling near this work zone. Questions regarding the water infrastructure repair may be directed to the Water Department, (937) 382-3614.
