Downtown South St. Repaving to Take Place May 27 & 28
LOCATION – N. South St., Wilmington, Ohio
Wilmington, Ohio – The City of Wilmington announces that crews will begin repaving phase of the South Street Repaving and Improvements Project with work scheduled to take place on May 27 and 28, focusing on the downtown portion of South Street (US 68/SR134) between Columbus Street and Main Street.
Crews will be performing work overnight between 8pm and 6 am on Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28, weather permitting. South Street will be closed for northbound traffic between Columbus St. and Main St. overnight on May 27th and 28th. Detours will be in place for vehicles traveling north on South Street and west on Locust Street. Motorists are advised to expect and plan for delays.
The City of Wilmington asks that all motorists be patient, reduce speed, and exercise added caution when traveling near this work zone. Questions regarding this project may be directed to the City Services Office (937) 382-6509.
