City of Wilmington Evaluates Traffic Signal Efficiency Along Rombach Corridor and Downtown
Wilmington, OH — The City of Wilmington is committed to improving traffic flow and safety for its residents and visitors. As part of ongoing efforts to enhance transportation infrastructure, the City is currently evaluating the efficiency of traffic signals along the Rombach Avenue corridor and in the downtown area.
The City has partnered with Capital Electric, who, over the past several weeks, has conducted thorough assessments of the signal systems and identified areas for improvement. As a result, several corrections have already been made to fine-tune the signals, minimizing congestion and improving traffic flow.
“We understand the importance of efficient traffic management, especially along major routes like Rombach and in our downtown area,” said Mayor Patrick Haley. “This review and adjustment process is an essential part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring safer and more effective travel for everyone in our community.”
The City is actively monitoring the updated signals and will make further improvements as needed. Questions regarding this project may be directed to the City Services Office (937) 382-6509.
