CenterPoint Energy Natural Gas Leak Surveys
Wilmington, OH — The City of Wilmington informs residents that natural gas leak surveys will be conducted throughout the city as part of ongoing regulation requirements set by the Department of Transportation. These surveys will be performed on all natural gas piping, including underground main lines, service lines, and exposed piping up to gas meters.
CenterPoint energy is overseeing this project and has contracted Heath Consultants to complete the surveys. Heath Consultant technicians will have a visible picture ID and be in a company uniform. Technicians use personal vehicles and may be in unbranded vehicles. Technicians will have a CenterPoint Energy Contact phone for customer verification.
These surveys are an essential part of detecting and addressing any potential natural gas leaks before they pose a risk to residents or the environment. The City of Wilmington and CenterPoint Energy appreciate your cooperation and patience during this important work.
