**Altafiber to Begin Construction of Fiber “Backbone” Project**
LOCATION – Wilmington, Ohio
The City of Wilmington notifies residents that altafiber will begin construction on its fiber “backbone” project beginning Monday, November 18, 2024.
Construction will take place on Nelson Avenue, Main Street, Gallup Street, Sugartree Street, and Walnut Street. There will be no detours in place. Single lane closures and flaggers may be in place at various times throughout project construction.
Altafiber is managing the project. AMS Construction, Inc. is the contractor.
The City of Wilmington asks that all motorists be patient, reduce speed, and exercise added caution when traveling near these work zones. Questions regarding the project may be directed to altafiber at 513-566-4101. Construction complaints should be reported to altafiber via Gary Gelter II at 513-397-3869.
