This permit is required for any opening or use of the public right of way. Examples: Utility work, sidewalk/driveway installation or repair, closure of alley, parking space, or lane(s) of traffic. Apply for a Right-of-Way Use/Opening Permit.
An event permit is required for events taking place on public property, and event-related road closures/lane restrictions. Public park rentals and mobile stage rentals should be applied for separately. Examples: Block parties, street fairs, parades, organized runs/walks. Apply for an event permit.
